On a journey to Vienna Ricarda in the small pension, in which she had descended, became acquainted with the Italian dentist Ermanno Ceconi, fell in love with him and married ihim. It should become the really large love of their life - which they only recognize, when it is too late. An extremely productive period of life began.182 Ermanno was a famous raonteur and is mentioned in several memoirs of the that time including, amongst others, Thomas Mann.178
