Betty Cassirer was 19 when she married Fritz Falk in Berlin (in 1905). She moved from Australia after Fritz’s death from cancer, to New York in order to be closer to her son Werner. She lived for a time with her cousin Kurt Goldstein in 5th Avenue in New York, and then on her own in another apartment until her death.
