Anne (Anna) Cassirer was Ernst Cassirer's daughter and married the famous pianist Kurt Apelbaum whom she subsequently was divorced from.
Anna was a psychotherapist, and died 6 days before her 90th birthday. Prior to that she made arrangements with a colleague to record her observations of her own disintegration of self, as her body progressively lost its functions.
